Why is my vision goes dark?

ok, so here is a question for you! I have had progressive visual loss since he was 1 year old. I have amblyopia, astigmatism, reduced peripheral vision, and I'm very nearsighted. Ten years ago i developed in my singles optic nerve and loss of vision in my right eye. OK! You catch up! lol Now recently have been noticing that my eyes really water when I'm tired. So much so that it is as tears streamed down my face! I also realize that the rooms seem darker. As there isn't enough light to see. I realize this, especially in my right eye. Is this something I should be worried? I'm an eye exam in October. Should I make arrangements to go faster? Thanks for your help and advice in advance!
