Balance Corrective

Balance Corrective
Why do I have too many “platelets”?

I had a mini-stroke in November. Lost my left hand control and balance and tongue agility for about an hour and a half. Then it all came back! I’m soon sixty.

Now I had ekg. and blood tests which show LOW cholesterol, and no arterial plaque, but tons of “thrombocytes” or platelets -the things that cause clotting- so that I could have a stroke or a heart attack at any time. (Also somewhat high white cells.) The other values were completely in the “normal” range.

What could it be, and what could I do about it?

Any natural corrective remedies?

Any links?

Thanks..desperate! Sionarra
Look guys, You’ve ALL done marvelously! I cannot say one answer is better. Dr. C very helpful; and the others, But the first link (I spent hours looking) was the most encouraging one I read. I realised I don’t HAVE to have leukemia just because they’re high. So that “first-come-first-served” you get the prize. Many thanks to ALL of you!
