How well I can do a chain of 16 telescopic pole crappie in the foot?

Hi, I'm hoping maybe someone can help me. I has been awarded two used telescopic crappie poles. At least I think its called crappie poles anyway. TSP is a Shakespeare 13, 13 'Wonderpole. The other is an older fiberglass 15.5 '- 15' pole with no identification on it at all. My question is simple. How the hell do I string up? I assuming that not only tie the rope off the eye at the tip. I managed to find some information about chaining a bamboo cane. It is said that tie around the pole every few feet if the brakes when you get a big one, so do not miss the fish. But I could not find any kind of artwork or anything. Does anyone happen to be able to point me in the right direction? Thanks, Bill

Usually, only the tie line in the end eye pole. Usually it is difficult to draw on the same line of poles because the slip knot to the end. It is usually very difficult for a fish to break the tip of pole outside because it is very flexible.
