how do i make a night sky illusion?

i have a conopy bed and wanted to make it look like theres a night sky above my bed. how would i do it? i was thinking something with dark blue fabric and glow in the dark paint. maybe twinkling lights? any ideas?

get a bulb and make a black cover for it, poke holes it it w/ a pin, when you turn it on the pin pricks will let out small amounts of light that resemble stars on your canopy
