Anyone have tips for Face Skin care products?

I was just wondering if anyone knew or tried any face Skin Care products that worked really well for themselves and would like to give me some advice!
Skin care can include:
Face wash
moisterizer
foundation
anything in those general categories because everything ive tried just hasnt worked
please help!! thanks

Aveeno! everything in their skincare line works for be but my favs are the Positively Radiant cleanser and moisturizer. i think it has something to do with the soy extracts in it, but I would definitely recommend it!

Facial Skin Care – Renew and Replenish Your Complexion

Facial skin care begins with ensuring pores and the skin’s surface is cleaned and prepared for treatments or moisturizer.  Deep cleaning sensitive facial skin helps eliminate enlarged pores and removes bacteria, dirt and oils – the primary contributors to adult acne, rosacea, blemishes and skin rashes.

Following proper cleansing, treatments that target wrinkles, fine lines or discoloration are enhanced.  Products formulated to improve complexion and smooth the skin can polish and protect from damage, while renewing and reclaiming a youthful and supple appearance.

Cleaning your Face

Infection and bacteria build-up top the list for problems on our faces.  Facial skin is sensitive and prone to blemishes, pimples, rash and a host of other concerns.  Coupled with increasing accumulation of damage from free-radicals, our faces require the best cleaning possible.

Many soaps and washes adequately cleanse, but may have surfactants (cleaning agents) that may prove to be harsh.  Natural skin care products often incorporate active ingredients such ad Zinc, Tea Tree Oil or other mineral and botanical extracts that deep clean pores without inducing irritation. 

An herbal face wash is often gentler on the skin while providing protection.  Tea Tree Oil, in particular, is generally considered non-irritating and deep cleaning with the added benefit of acting as an antioxidant – fighting free-radical damage that leads to pre-mature skin aging. 

Zinc and Zinc PCA, on the other hand, regulate sebaceous gland secretions of skin oils.  Oil build-up can clog pores and lead to dirt and makeup accumulation, thus providing a breeding ground for bacteria.

Facial Treatments

As we age, damage from free-radicals takes its toll on cell membranes.  Free-radicals, a result of oxidization target cell structure and can lead to wrinkles, rough or dry skin, loss of moisture and hydration, and decrease in normal collagen and elastin fibrous development

Antioxidants skin care products containing natural antioxidants such as Green Tea can help to slow cell damage and give you a “running start” towards smooth skin and reducing wrinkles.

Microdermabrasion treatments help to slough-off “retired” skin cells and promote new and healthy skin cell development.  Facial skin care relies on healthy skin.  Microderm abrasion helps to clean pores and treat and polish the skin leaving it refreshed and invigorated. 

Many creams can be used at home and without the need for expensive applicators.  Light abrasives can be applied with the finger tips in a rotating fashion and provide equally satisfactory results – no need for a buffing machine.

A wrinkle cream or complexion cream can be applied after cleansing and exfoliation.  Many wrinkle treatments use Argireline, Matrixyl 3000 and Hyaluronic Acid in concert to smooth expression lines and reduce the density and depth of wrinkles. 

Argireline is a proven Botox alternative “behaving” in a similar fashion by relaxing tissues and acting to firm and tighten.  For facial skin care, Hyaluronic Acid (Sodium Hyaluronate) helps restore cell moisture and retain hydration.  It is a naturally occurring substance in our bodies and aids dermal health by reducing dryness and softening.

Facial skin care is a deliberate step towards cleansing and treating.  Avoiding bacteria while protecting against irritation with an herbal face wash, cleans clogged pores and refreshes the skin.  Antioxidants help protect from damaging free-radicals, and treatments for renewing dermal layers and reducing wrinkles help reducing the appearance of aging.
