Chiropractic Foot
My foot hurts–what could be going on?

It all started in my hip. I’m a new mom and have been using a few different baby carriers quite frequently, so I thought the pain that began in my hip as I walked around and bore weight on it may have been from my back adjusting to the weight of the baby. However, I’m only using one kind of carrier now–the Ergo baby carrier, which is made to promote posture and support Your Back. It’s great. My foot began to hurt a few weeks ago, again, happens when I bear weight on it as I walk around. When I’m sitting, it doesn’t hurt at all. It hurts also when I push on it with my hand. It’s the top area of my foot more towards the outside. Is this a chiropractic issue? Or should I go to an MD? It’s to the point now where I’m limping everywhere I go to dull the pain. If it’s fractured, for example, wouldn’t there be more pain involved? Help!

If you haven’t physically hurt it (like dropped something on it or hit it or twisted it etc.) I doubt it’s broken but there’s no way of knowing without an x-ray. It could be a pulled ligament or a sprain. Try switching between icing it and heating it every 20 minutes and elevate it. If pain continues go get it checked at the doctor’s.
Hope this helps :)
