Hair Straightener ….?

I want to buy a hair straightener but dont really have a clue which ones work best. Is there a certain brand that really Works Good… I have a conair curling iron that works amazing but dont know what their straightners are like. I want a ceramic one because I heard they work best… Personal experience only please. My hair is slightly wavey and since I cut it, it flips out at the ends. I have fine hair but a lot of it…
