Will cell phones interfere with cordless mics?

My congregation is starting to use cordless mics. Will everyones cell Phone interfere with them? I mean we have doctors, contractors, teachers ect. and they all have cell phones probably on vibrate, but there still on, will they interfere with signal to cordless? Any help or knowledge of this will be appreciated.

Microhpones in general are susceptible to EMI (Electro-Magnetic Interference) from nearby mobile phones and other similar devices, not just cordless mics. Special shielded microphones should be immune to outside interference, but non-shielded mics may be affected in some cases.

As for wireless signal interference, this probably won’t be an issue because cordless mics tend to operate on frequencies different to that of most mobile phones.

As I said though, the actual electromagnetic radiation from a nearby cell phone can directly cause interference with the mic (not the wireless signal, but the actual mic itself) but the phone would have to be fairly close in proximity (i.e. on the person using the mic or on a person standing close to the mic for example).

Basically, unless the person talking has a cell phone on them, I don’t foresee any interference problems. Even if the person did have a mobile phone on them, only if there was an active connection (like an incoming message or call for example) would there be any noticeable interference.

Asthma, COPD and other breathing conditions can really make life a pain. Doing a nebulizer at home is really the only option when operating the compressor units. They are loud and bulky. Well, Omron has come out with the Omron MicroAir Vibrating Mesh Nebulizing System NE-U22V system that will change all that for you. I’ve been using it for a little less than a year. Here’s my review of the unit.

What you get out of that is super fine mist. I’ve never seen mist this fine. That allows for great inhalation of the medicine in the reservoir. The delivery system was a bit rough, my started heart pounding so fast (as if I just ran a marathon) everytime I used it. . All you have to do is close your eyes and blow on the top to get the liquid off. Once you do that, the fine mist will start again. To minimize this problem, don’t exhale out the mouth piece.
Cleaning is a breeze. Just make sure you use distilled water, not only for operation, but also for cleaning the mesh unit. Normal water can contain sediment that would render it useless.

The Omron NE-U22v nebulizer is actually considered the best nebulizer on the market today.
