Cushion Soothing
My husband is scared to have sex with me while am pregnant?

My husband is nervous about having sex with me while I am pregnant. I am only about 17 weeks and he says that when he lays on top of me he feels like hes crushing the baby. I told him that its not paining me but he says that just because its not hurting me doesnt mean its not hurting the baby and I always tell him that the baby is well cushioned and right now am to early for it to be a problem. I still sleep on my stomach sometimes and not only is the baby bump very visible but my stomach is still big from previous kids I have had so I feel more so that the fat there is even more cushioning. He doesnt lay against my stomach often so its not an often thing but in the heat of the moment when he has he gets nervous and says hes crushing the baby. I dont want him to feel bad and keep trying to soothe his mind but I told him we can do other positions if that will make him more comfortable but how can I convince him that the baby is fine.

My husband is the same way. Maybe to make him feel more comfortable, try a different position where he isn’t on top of you or squishing your belly. This may help him. You may have to try and convince him that once baby is born there won’t be any sex for like 6-8 weeks so do it as much as you can while pregnant. And also, baby couldn’t be hurt if you weren’t being hurt.
