Digital Frequency
When we change to digital tv, will the uhf frequency for it be lost?

I’m not sure I understand your question, but I’ll take a stab at what I think you are asking.

Digital TV (DTV) still operates on the same standard VHF and UHF channels as the old analog TV. That didn’t change. However, the channel displayed on the TV Screen is not always the actual channel on which the TV station is transmitting.

This is because the Channel displayed on the TV (e.g. 60.1 or 5.2) is programmed into the data stream by the station’s engineers and, in the US, is supposed to be the ANALOG channel number. The idea is to avoid confusing consumers. Channel 60 has been channel 60 for twenty years. Now that it’s actually on channel 38 is immaterial to viewers, the TV still says channel 60 and tunes the correct channel when they punch 60 into the remote. The system is designed to hide this fact from the viewer.

Just use a Digital TV or a converter box and it will figure everything out automagically!

I hope this helps. Please return and select a Best Answer from all of those submitted.
