How to train a cockatiel to perch on your finger?

I have a young cockatiel, and she feels comfortable when I stroked his head, but she gets very scared when I put my finger near his feet. I want that land on my finger.

Now you can add in the "Step Up" command and soon he will be in your finger. TIP: To encourage a bird to lift your other foot towards you, push back and up, this helps to back off the perch.
