Sme Glass Units Set To Shine
Although 2008-09 did not turn out to be favourable for the Indian glass sector, SMEs engaged in the industry are expecting to witness improved financials at the end of 2009-10. Resurgence of demand in key user industries as well as pick-up in the domestic real estate market over the past few months have buoyed the sentiment of small-scale glass units, making them hopeful of ending the current financial year with healthy profit figures. Growth driven by uptick in key sectors Riding on the back demand revival in some key consuming segments such as construction, automobiles, infrastructure, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, SMEs in the Indian glass industry are once again gaining their optimism and lost glory. “Increase in business activity in the construction and real estate sector, rise in auto sales and visible signs of an economic turnaround have resulted in steady sales for small glass companies over the past few months,” said A Shabbir, general manager of Dynaflex Corporation, a Chennai-based mid-sized industrial glass manufacturer. Besides the growth in demand, stability in prices of chief raw materials is also helping SME glass units to come back strongly on the growth track. “Stability in key input prices over the past few months and good outlook on the demand side from key sectors are expected to help SME glass companies witness a major growth in their operating profit margins for 2009-10,” said BK Jain, proprietor of Basant Glass Company, a small-sized glass product supplier in Kolkata. With key user sectors showing revival signs and cost stabilising, prospects of SMEs in the glass industry looks bright for the coming few quarters. Elbow(golfer’s) Tendinitis recovery?
I am recovering from tendinitis. It is slowly getting better but there is still a faint sort of crunching noise when I flex my arm out.(Palm down). Is this Scar Tissue build up?This really doesn’t bother me except for the fact that it hinders my guitar playing.I don’t seem to have the stanima I once did and If I play too long it gets a little sore. Will this crunching noise go away without surgery?Warming up does help alot(I use a dynaflex powerball and a handmaster).
It should go away. I had the same problem and it went away in about 2 weeks. If it doesnt get better i would consider more drastic measures.
