Grade Microdermabrasion

Grade Microdermabrasion

is the use of cosmetic medically grade aluminium oxide safe whilst breastfeeding? how about glutathione?

i want to undergo microdermabrasion but hesitant to do it as i’m breastfeeding. i would also like to continue my intake of anti-oxidant called Glutathione. enlighten me on these. want to do them but cant resort to bottle feed my baby as he’s allergic to formula milk.

Aluminum oxide doesn’t enter your bloodstream when used topically- if it did, you would be very sick well before your baby ingested any of it.

Anti-oxidants should be fine, but I’m not familiar with Gluthathione specifically.

Professional Microdermabrasion – Positive Effects Of Professional Microdermabrasion

Professional microdermabrasion is an ultimate exfoliation procedure which is originally done in clinics or beauty salons performing by certified beauticians or dermatologists to rejuvenate the skin, to remove wrinkles and the effects of acne. By using a microdermabrasion machine, the skin is blasted with tiny crystals and by using “abrading” motion, the top layer of dead skin cells are being removed leaving the skin revitalized and silky soft.

On the other hand, with the popularity of microdermabrasion, many beauty companies are flooding the market with their own at-home microdermabrasion creams or home kits. Some of these home kits consist of a scrub and exfoliating cream while a more expensive kits will include a battery-powered hand-held exfoliating device. Microdermabrasion creams or home kits can cost as low as $50. On the other hand, professional microdermabrasion can costs up to $200 per treatment session.

Therefore, the question is why choose professional microdermabrasion whereby a cheaper choice (microdermabrasion home kits) is available?

The first and foremost benefit of professional microdermabrasion is the higher intensity level of skin polishing as compare with microdermabrasion creams or home kits. Usually, the clinics uses an expensive, Medical Grade machine that blasts the skin with aluminum oxide crystals. In fact, within 20 – 30 min, you will be able to see that the appearances of your wrinkles, fine lines or acne scars are reduced.

On the other hand, it is true that some microdermabrasion creams do contain aluminum oxide crystals like the microdermabrasion machine uses. However, the cream lubricates the skin (reduces abrasion) rather than “peeling” the skin. Hence, it is not that effective.

Secondly, when you go to a certified doctor or dermatologist for treatment, they will advice and recommend the most appropriate treatment program for you so as to achieve the best results. During the microdermabrasion procedure, the dermatologist controls the level of crystals blasting and knows which area of your skin to target. Quite often, they will also work closely with you and select the ideal Skin Care products for your new skin.

When it comes to a microdermabrasion home kit, you are the “doctor” yourself as there will be no one to guide you along. Basically, what you rely on is just the instructions booklet that comes along with it. You may know how to use the kits efficiently, but you may not know where is the most appropriate area of your skin to target. Thus, the whole treatment process may become a trial-and-error session for you.

Thirdly, when a professional performs the treatment for you, the devices or equipment have bacteria killing characteristics. This means that you are being given the most safest mode of treatment. Besides, you are normally required to wear goggles to protect the eyes also. With all the safety precautions, there are usually no microdermabrasion risks or side effects associated with the treatment. But when it comes to home kits, complications or side effects may arise due to the fact that you may overdo it just to achieve the results you desired.

Therefore, with the above mentioned benefits, it is recommended to go for professional microdermabrasion which will give you better and safer results as compare with using home kits. Besides, at a professional consultation appointment, you are able to understand your skin problems better and are given the personalized skin care needs. With such professional advice, you will have a higher chances of having healthier and younger looking skin in a shorter time frame.
