What are great items to sell @ a little boutique?

My sister-in-law owns a cute little shop off the beaten path. She sells candles, cute little purses, & even embroiders stuff. The thing is, she is just making enough to stay open. Any suggestions or ideas that could possibly make this cute shop better??? What else should she sell? What is in right now??? Any incentive ideas?

Does she advertise? I know it costs money to do that, but you mentioned her shop is off the beaten path so people may not even know it’s there. She may have some luck if she contacted a local news paper and have them write a story about her cute little shop. Another idea…maybe she should invest in a espresso machine. You can make some money selling lattes and cappuccinos to shoppers. Who can resist the smell of fresh espresso beans?!?! Maybe she could even sell some homemade jewelry. Good Luck!
