Where I can find the video conferencing software that provides High Quality?

My mother would like to have video conferencing with my sister and her baby newborn who live outside the city. Bought some decent webcams for each of them. I suggested Skype for videoconferencing, but were not happy to quality. I pay for my own server space, so I was wondering if there was a program out there that I left her home to video conference with my own width band to give a better picture. Anyone know of something like this?

First of all voice quality and the image depends on many different factors that may not is the software that is creating the problem, but could even be the sound card you have, the graphic card, Internet connection … etc, etc. That said, There is a good video conferencing software for free here http://www.dwyco.citymax.com/page/page/700292.htm and several more in Source Forge, which is all free and much of it is as good as the things you buy, if not better. If in doubt, and the need for software .. I always try to sourceforge.net
