How many magic shows are performed in the U.S. each year?
If that is too hard, how many professional magicians, we must respect the U.S.?
No one can accurately answer that question. First, what constitutes a show? Do you have a performance close talble to dinner at a restaurant is a show? Or the need to take place performance in a theater? And what qualifies as a professional magician? This definition appears to be rather weak in the magical world. For me is defined as follows: Professional Magician: 1) has a show of consistent quality, 2) follows business practices standard entertainment industry (for example, issues contracts, has a business office, use business cards, etc) and 3) charges a fee that would be unrealistic in the provision of life. The artist is great, but only charges $ 50.00 a hobbiest, no matter how good it is.
