Microdermabrasion: Anyone know of a good do-it-yourself home kit?

I have seen kits by neutrogena, ponds, l’oreal, homedics – some have little hand-held Battery Operated wands and others are just system creams.

Have you used any of these products and if so which were the most effective in rejuvenating the skin?

I have just recently developed little bumps All Over my forehead which gives my skin an uneven appearance but don’t actually look like a typical blackhead or whitehead – but I am pretty sure they are blackheads.

What treatments should I use, which should I avoid? A few years ago I had a chemical peel and microdermabrasion but both made me look terrible for a week while they were healing – I work full time and wear a face mask (I’m a hygienist) so can’t really do anything as drastic as that this time.

Thanks for your help!

I bought the Neutrogena kit that comes with the battery powered exfoliator. I used it for a while and it didn’t cause any irritation. Since you control how much pressure is used and the amount of exfoliator, I think it’s a good one to try. It made my skin smooth and helped to clear it up
