I need help in Marathon Durandal Campaign?

Well everytime I spawn on this one level I’m in the air then fall into the water and die. The level is when you spawn and you’re in a jail cell then the B.O.B.s come and break you out but then it just makes me ike teleport into a different room and I’m floating and just fall into water and as soon as I hit the water I die. I really need help, I want to beat this game but stuck.
