Combat Crisis with Massage Therapy in 4th Street Downtown St. Petersburg and Tampa 33607
According to an article by June D. Bell in the Summer 2009 online issue of Massage Envy magazine, Caroline Adams Miller, a master’s degree holder in applied positive psychology, advises scheduling a massage in order to be happy and to combat the gloom and doom brought on by the economic crisis. You can easily get a massage in St. Pete. Schedule your massage therapy session at a reputable professional massage therapy clinic in 4th Street Downtown St. Petersburg or Tampa 33607.
According to Bell, research has surprisingly found that adopting a positive attitude, being optimistic or deciding to be happy even in the midst of hardship and financial challenges is not impossible. It is, in fact, actually a skill that can be developed with enough practice. Bell quotes Miller as saying, “This is all about rolling up your sleeves in the service of happiness.” Miller is sure that whatever the circumstances surrounding them, people are capable of teaching themselves how to derive more joy out of their lives.
Including joyful activities in one’s schedule is one way of creating happiness. Scheduling a massage session, as mentioned earlier, falls under this category. The activity need to be expensive. It could be a walk in the park, meeting up with friends or even just scheduling an online chat with a member of the family who lives some distance away. Bell says Miller attributes the joyful effects of scheduling such treats as being derived from the extended anticipation of the event in addition to the enjoyment of the activity itself when it finally happens.
Another method for accessing joy is to count one’s blessings and give thanks for them, Bell says. She cites the advice of leadership development expert Gloria J. Burgess to take time each morning upon waking up to appreciate the potential of that day and to express gratitude for being alive to experience it. Burgess says that simple step will make you more positive in your dealings with others and even in how you regard yourself. Bell points out that this “attitude of gratitude,” as she calls it, is basic to prayer in every faith and culture. She believes it is “one of the easiest and most effective paths to a happier life.”
Being appreciated by others also produces feelings of joy, Bell reminds us, and this happens when we connect with other people and do something good for them, no matter how simple. Bell says Burgess agrees: “Doing good for someone raises the giver’s spirit. There’s always someone out there who needs what you have.” Bell, therefore, suggests firing up the spirit of volunteerism by offering one’s services at a seniors’ home, a community center, a pet shelter, a soup kitchen or anywhere you feel you can contribute something of value with your presence.
Bells says even Miller agrees, adding the idea of the “social contagion theory” to the mix. According to Miller, the feeling of well being brought on by helping others is contagious and your happiness will most likely affect and infect the people you are in touch with, such as your family, your friends, your colleagues and your neighbors. Be warned that the opposite is also true. Depression, irritability, rudeness and anger also tend to be contagious. It is, therefore, very important to counter a potentially depressing situation with big doses of positivity and optimism.
So note down your massage therapy session schedule in your calendar and start savoring the anticipation with glee. Choose either Swedish massage therapy, Deep Tissue massage therapy or sports massage therapy. Be generous and give your friends massage gift cards, too, including one for pregnancy massage therapy for your pregnant friend. Then watch as happiness makes the round and lights up your surroundings in 4th Street Downtown St. Petersburg and Tampa 33607.

What should I do, I think my boss is going to your mind?
Well, he has the hots for me. If I'm on the computer that will come from near and be with to me, so if I move my elbow is going to graze his crotch or sleeve rubs against it. By going through files and records of your hand will brush against mine. The other day I was answering the phone, stood about like listening to some instructions he was receiving and his hand almost grabbed my crotch, then put it in his pocket. The thing is that when someone is set in well and can not have it you tend to have a bad temper and shout with them for any reason. It does sometimes. So I was thinking that the next time he sits in front of me, I put my foot in the crotch and give a Foot Massage. I am a boy, he's not a bad guy, but I just bothers me. I will not mind if you do go ahead and grope me, at least calm down.
Just tell him politely that he feels a little uncomfortable standing whens hes so close to you! He'll get the message if you say that. Dosn't If they cease, let her know again. If still dosn't stop it, THEN tell someone whos above / HR. etc would be taken more seriously if you try to fix the situation yourself first.
