where to find very comfortable shoes for standing all day for something that will relieve feet pain?

My mom works as a waitress at a noodle shop. She comes home very tired and her feet hurt from walking and standing all day. She bought a Feet Massager that her friend recommended to her but it is not helping her feet. I want to buy her some shoes that will at least temporarily relieve her pain for now until I find a better solution.

If she has any kind of foot problem, such as fallen arches (flat feet), bunions, hammertoes, weak ankles, etc. her footwear should accommodate the issue.

Arches, gel supports, heel lifts, and all kinds of items can be purchased at good pharmacies.

I would suggest a good athletic shoe (New Balance has a variety of support models and a good salesperson could help her) with a wide toe area, high toe box, and good ankle support. She Can Take the inserts out of the shoes and replace them with her own device, which may offer more support. The gel support arches might be a wise choice.

If she is on her feet all day, and especially on concrete, she needs good support. Custom orthotics are pricey and are often not covered by insurance, but she should be able to find some decent generic ones.
