I want to establish a hot rock treatment for my friend, what should I buy, and how do I heat the rocks?
Should I buy stones or just grab something? I live near a stream so maybe there is some good there stones. I also need to know how to heat for a Relaxing Massage. I do not want spend more than $ 15 or nothing would be better.
Gather some rocks and washed with soap. You like large stones. Then turn the shower or sink to hot and waiting fot it to heat. do this just before your friend comes. Then put the rocks in the Hot Water as your friend test temperature. Making treatment. Think what kind of Massae want. Do not buy rocks. In addition, a bubble bath is nice. I did this so I know it works.
Massage Top 10
While many simply use the phrase "massage" in fact there are many different types of massage that focus on a particular body part or a particular method of administration of therapy. The following is a brief description of the top ten types of massage offered today masseurs.
Swedish Massage Therapy: This is the most common type to be offered by massage therapists because it is very gentle and relaxing. The massage therapist uses long strokes, kneading and circular movements on superficial layers of muscle using massage lotion or oil. The result is a fresh feeling, quiet and renewal for the body.
Aromatherapy: The reason is so called because one or more aromatic plant oils are used during the session. During the meeting, you should choose the oil to use. In fact, the most popular is lavender, as it is well adapted to stressful conditions associated with an emotional component.
hot stone massage: Heated smooth stones are placed in certain parts of the body to help loosen tight muscles and balance energy points in the body. Sometimes, the trainer also can apply gentle pressure especially for those who have muscle tension.
Deep Tissue massage: This type is designed to achieve the layers deeper muscle and connective tissue. Here, the masseuse uses slow movement known as friction techniques across the grain of the muscle. The distinctive feature of deep tissue massage is used in those who have chronically tight or painful muscles, repetitive strain, postural problems and recovery injury. They often feel pain during the next two days.
Shiatsu: This massage therapy originated in Japan. In such cases, the masseuse will use localized finger pressure in a rhythmic sequence on acupuncture meridians. Each point is held from 2 to 8 second designed to improve the flow of energy and help the body regain balance. Those who have tried it say it's relaxing, but firm. The best part is that there is no pain afterwards.
Thailand: As also aligns the energies of the body with light pressure to specific parts, is similar to Shiatsu. Part of the session also includes compressions and stretches as moving in a variety of yoga postures, but as in this case, you do not do anything but go with the flow.
Pregnancy: For women who are waiting, can opt for a pregnancy massage specialist. It is designed to Relieve Stress, reduce swelling, relieve aches and pains and reduce anxiety and depression.
Reflexology: This is also known as Foot Massage because it involves applying pressure to certain points on the foot. It is believed that the foot, fact, corresponds to certain body organs and systems so if this works both the Whole Body will benefit.
Sports: This is designed for those involved in sports. Professional athletes will benefit from this treatment most, but anyone involved in sport should consider this contributes to helping to prevent and treat injuries.
Back and neck: Unlike reflexology that focuses on the feet, because it represents special points in the body, it simply relieves tension in the back and neck caused by heavy lifting or driving for a long period of time.
