Natural ways to increase progesterone in a woman's body?
Over the past five months I've been getting my period every 40 to 50 days compared to my usual 28 to 32 days. My gynecologist says I'm not producing enough progesterone, and perhaps you should take a pill called "Provera" to help with this and to regulate menstruation again. I sincerely hope that goes back to how they use it without having to take pills. I had a good experience with control birth, so I'm very hesitant in taking hormones. I'd rather do something natural. Maybe a slight change in diet, more exercise, yoga, aromatherapy .. things this I've heard nature can help. I suffer from IBS and GERD, so I'm almost certain that the change in diet and lifestyle that I had to do more the past year have contributed to these irregular periods. I was pretty sick for the past year as I tried to get control of my IBS and GERD, which have improved considerably in the last year. My period seems to be the problem now, which in turn is making my GERD and IBS to act.
