Why gun owners who are not part of the problem with gun violence in the U.S.?

They will ruin it for the rest of us.

Almost everyone supports responsible gun ownership simply disagree on the threshold of "responsible." I think gun owners should lose the right to possess a firearm if the firearm is stolen and used in a crime. This approach would create a sort of "free market" to the responsibility of the gun. In other words, Gun owners would do whatever it takes to secure their weapons.
