Phrase on the back of personal check for full payment?
I am negotiating a settlement of a medical bill with a hospital. According to People’s Court which I watch almost daily, there is phrase which you can write on the back of a personal check which signifies the satisfaction of said debt. It goes something like this: “For the full payment for all goods and services”. I need the exact verbiage. I am from Oklahoma. Thank you. Also I will gladly accept any other advice in negotiating this bill down to a reasonable amount. Thank you again.

No matter what you write on the check, the creditor can still endorse it and still come after you for the balance owed.
Many states do not allow restrictive endorsement.
Virginia: (Florida has the exact same wording, ss 673.2061; the Texas statute, also with identical wording is 3.206)
§ 8.3A-206. Restrictive endorsement.
(b) An endorsement stating a condition to the right of the endorsee to receive payment does not affect the right of the endorsee to enforce the instrument. A person paying the instrument or taking it for value or collection may disregard the condition, and the rights and liabilities of that person are not affected by whether the condition has been fulfilled.
So the answer would all depend upon where you live.
