Getting stickers on the back of a portable DVD player?

I had double-sided tape on the back of my player DVD to stick it to the top of my car. (Not really work). Now, I've been going crazy trying to get the sticky adhesive on the back of the player. Does anyone have a trick they know to remove it?

It's called Goo Gone … comes in a bottle is a yellow-gold. It is the magic works on getting the sticky stuff of places that should not be. I would suggest getting as much tape as possible outside since I know that a little double stick tape can be a bit thick … after applying Goo Gone and wipe away the sticky stuff that sticks.
