Should I get the game the sims 2 deluxe?

Im 14 turning 15 in January, and I've never played Sims before. I've been watching the games of the sims and it seems fun. Please speak up. Oh, and if there are pros and cons about the game you would like to list that would help me a lot.

Is the same as expected and get Sims 3. I do not like The Sims games so much. I do not see what's fun about it. Today, I have no idea yet what the object is. You controls give, give instructions, do have children, etc. It's like a game of life, but what is considered right and wrong?
