Any experience with massage?

I was wondering if anyone has had a massage to help em with martial arts. I'm in Thai boxing and a little after drilling shoulders tense. I know most common are Swedish massage, aromatherapy, hot stone, Deep Tissue, shiatsu, Thai, Reflexology, Sports, and back, but what would you recommend: What is more relaxing and which would help relax my shoulders? Thanks

Oooh, I'm a big fan of massage. Thai, deep tissue massage, Swedish, sports … Any of them. This site has a Very Good run down the differences between massage: http://altmedicine.about.com/od/massage/a/massage_types.htm If you are training a lot, I'd suggest a sports massage. However, as you said I wanted something "more relaxed", I will mention that tend to be more vigorously than relaxed after a sports massage. I tend to be very sleepy after Swedish massage. I feel like jelly after Thailand and I feel sore after the deep tissues. Of course, my sports massages also include the Korean hand acupuncture … YMMV!
