If an accident hasn’t gone through court yet does my friend still have a point on his record?

A biker his his bumper as he was making a left and each thinks it is the other person’s fault. Now their lawyers have all the info. If it’s still going through court does he have a point against him on his record.

Points are accessed after a conviction. If he hasn’t been convicted yet, it will not be on his record.

If he is convicted, the points will be effective the date of the violation.
