Abdominal Massage & Vaginal Bleeding?

I have fibromyalgia and have trigger points in my rectus abdominus and obliques and psoas muscles. I have a theracane (which is a fiberglass Massage Tool shaped like a cane) and I use it to apply deep pressure to my trigger points. I did this to my abominal muscles both upper and lower, left and right to release the points (This was 3 days ago). About 1 hour later my pantyliner had blood on it. Now I just have this browninsh blood everytime I go to the bathroom to wipe myself. There seems to be more after exercising and wiping myself. I have no other symptoms like pain or fever or anything – just the abnormal bleeding and I am not pregnant and it is not my mid-cycle or period time. I also do not have an STD (because I am a virgin). I AM GOING TO MY DOC THIS WEEK (so please don’t worry there).

I am just wondering if anyone knows or has any idea on what I did to myself. Thanks.

It might just be a result of your reproductive muscles relaxing and releasing any fluids that you were storing. I wouldn’t be too worried if it seems as though you’re just spotting. Definitely ask your doctor about it – he/she obviously knows more about the subject than we do. Take care!
