Tips on Installation of mini apes on my 883 Harley Sportster 2008?

I have a 2008 Harley Sportster and thinking about getting mini ape bars.Can someone give me a rough idea on cost and if its possible to do the work myself? Will i need to replace the wires?Any help will be greatly appreciated….

Clutch cable, throttle cables, extended wiring for the switches.

Minimum for parts using black vinyl cables will run about $200.00 labor will run about the same.

I don’t know your mechanical ability, but the clutch cable requires the primary cover to be removed and the wiring requires splice and solder or the terminal blocks to be re-pinned.

Shaun brought up a point I forgot , the brake line, add $30.00 and the fun of bleeding the brake.

It’s probably not a project for you.
