CAN electronic devices that have the wifi: psp, ipod touch and televisions can be infected too?

What I can do to protect myself? if answer is antivirus can u tell me how to install an antivirus to those items.? I was wondering if they can get infected cause I know that once connected ur online ur exposed to the virus. to do electronic devices that are ready to go online can become infected or are protected? I do not mean I'm talking normal TV of these tv that u can connect to the Internet and check e-mail or goto ur youtube without the need for a computer like the Panasonic TC-P46G10
