Two Hitachi

Two Hitachi
Where or how could I get a new screen for a 65″ Hitachi rear projection screen tv?

I’m not sure of the model number, but it was purchased about two or three years ago at Circuit City.

Have you looked in the Yellow Pages under Television Service (or Repair) for an Authorized Hitachi repair company?

They can get the screen for you…otherwise you can only get them from ENCOMPASS by becoming a TV repair station.

Hitachi 26ld200 – 10 Out of 10 for Value for Money

Purchasing a new TV today is an important decision. When you are spending the equivalent of what you used to spend taking the entire family on holiday several years ago it would be wise to ensure any decision made is a wise one.

Given the way technology changes it is essential to try and make sure that your purchase is relatively future-proof.

Television over the years has taken a great number of forms from the old days of analogue Black and White, through the launch of colour television to the latest technologies known as Digital Television (DTT). DTV uses digital modulation data, which is digitally compressed and requires decoding by a specially designed television set, or a standard receiver with a set-top box, or a PC fitted with a television card.

With this article the aim is to take a look at what is on offer with the latest generation of Flat Screen Televisions and in this case the Hitachi 26LD200.

The 26LD200 is a 26in LCD TV and currently these TV’s can be found for 550 pounds sterling or 1100 US dollars. The screen resolution is 1280 x 768 and with regards to being HD Ready the answer is no. The Hitachi has 2 (1 RGB) scarts and the type and number of Multimedia interfaces the 26LD200 uses is none at all. The type of Tuner for this TV is Analogue and the Hitachi is available from limited outlets only.

So how would we rate the Hitachi 26LD200?

First up, we would look at the picture quality and our score here would be 8 out of 10, next we would look at the sound quality and our view of this would be 8 out of 10. Taking a look at the number of relevant connections and their availability, our score would be 8 out of 10. As far as overall features are concerned we would give it 6 out of 10 and for ease of use and overall value for money we would give it, 8 out of 10 and 10 out of 10 respectively.

Taking everything into consideration our overall view of the package would be this set is amazing for the price and outperforms much more expensive competition with ease which means that we can recommend this as a good buy for almost everyone.

It is extremely unlikely given the variety and range of makes and models available that you will not be able to find something to match your tastes or budget. You could either opt for one of the more cutting edge newer options available or stay safe and go for one of the more established options available. Either way we hope that by reading this short article you should have a slightly more informed view of the options available to you

Please be aware that the prices quoted in this article are taken from a number of leading e-commerce websites and as such should be taken as guides and indications of prices rather than absolute quotes.
