Hubble ultra deep field?

can someone explain this picture to me …. say 2003-2004 was taken or something and look back some 13 000 million years … what does that mean? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Hubble_ultra_deep_field.jpg

This means that when light of these galaxies that are seen, left on the course of the Hubble's optical lens, which was 13 billion years earlier than the clock says. The light only goes so fast. So took 13 billion years to reach those images "us" through the Hubble. This in turn means they are seeing the light that was made 13 billion years ago. So we are seeing the universe as it was so long ago. It is amazing stuff.
