Waist Leg

Waist Leg
How will I be able to lift my leg straigtened to chest height?

What exercise should I do? I've been doing leg curls and squats, but does not help me I can only lift my leg high waist! Thanks

Correct me if I'm wrong but the resistance training and flexibility are not too synonymous. I think we should stretch.

Waist High Waders

If you are going to be doing some fly fishing, you will want to invest in a decent pair of waders. Waist high waders are a solid choice because of their fit and accessibility. There are other choices as well, and you should choose the pair that will best fit your needs. Read on to learn more about making a decision on which waders to buy.

It is first important that you understand what wader pants are as well as the options you have when choosing the right pair. Waders are rubberlike bottoms that help keep your dry when fly fishing. You will want to know the depth of the water in which you will be fly fishing so that you can choose the right type of waders. There are typically three styles. Hip waders are sufficient when you will be fishing in a small stream that has no more than one to two feet of water at its deepest location. Waist high waders are just as they sound, and are great for deeper water and if you are using the waterproof gear in a fast flowing stream. Chest waders are your other option, and are typically not used as much as the first two.

Now that you know what different levels of water resistant gear you can obtain, think about using the waist level wader pants. This allows you to still access the pockets of your own pants that are being worn beneath the gear. Because most waders do not come with pockets, you will need access to storage areas for line, lures, and other fishing accessories. These waders are also not likely to get in your way as you cast like taller waders can.

Not only are there different lengths of wader pants, but there are also different styles. Bootfoot waders tend to be the most popular. These have a boot attached to the bottom of the leg. This makes it more convenient, as you do not have to spend additional money on a solid waterproof shoe. These come with different types of soles depending on the conditions you will be walking in.

Stockingfoot waist high waders lack lack the additional section for your foot. Therefore, you must purchase water resistant boots to wear with them. The advantage to this is that you are likely to find a better and more comfortable fit with separate footwear. Some bootfoot wader pants are too generic to fit everyone properly.

You will also want to decide what material you want to purchase your waders in. Rubber is usually the most affordable, and because the material is durable, these waders will last your several years. Neoprene is another option, and is recommended for cold weather conditions because they help keep you good and warm. Nylon is another common material for waders. Because it is not a breathable fabric, sweat and moisture is likely to stay trapped in the wader which could cause problems later.
