The body prioritises where it sends its fresh blood supplies and warmth. Vital organs like the heart and brain come first, then other important organs used by the digestive system to process food and eliminate waste. The poor hands and feet at the extremities of the body are last in the pecking order. But unfortunately we feel discomfort and sometimes numbness in these places when it is cold.

We need to improve our Blood Circulation by getting active through exercise and eating the right foods that energise us instead of making us lethargic. Just jogging on the spot or even walking on the spot will get warmth circulating down to your legs. While you’re at it swing your arms as you walk to improve circulation to your hands. Any movement that involves lifting your knees or elbows, as long as it is at a consistent pace for at least 15 to 20 minutes, will increase blood flow and warm you up.

Movement of any kind needs your muscles to expand and contract. Your muscles take a few minutes to warm-up so you need to exercise for at least 15 to 20 minutes to burn calories. And whenever you burn something heat is generated. If you feel energetic: stair climbing is one of the best exercises. It forces you to lift your knees and get your heart pumping more warm blood through Your Body down to your toes.

Another excellent way to warm up your body is to drink a bowl of hot soup. I prefer a chunky vegetable soup made with a good clear broth. Firstly, as you wait for the soup to cool slightly so that it’s drinkable the steam rises up to warm your face and you can hold onto the bowl with both hands to warm them. Second, as the warm liquid flows through “your pipes” it warms up your stomach which distributes the warmth to other parts of the body that needs it. Finally, because vegetables are easily digested every part of your body gets it’s allocation of nutrients quicker.

Hot chocolate or chai (spiced tea with milk) does wonders to warm you up. The hot liquid is easy top digest, milk provides protein to maintain your cells and the nutrients from the chocolate and spices nourish your body. The variety of herbs and spices in a chai mix gives your body a range of vitamins and minerals to restore cells and promote healthy development.

In winter, especially, don’t sit in the one position for too long. It is better to move around and get active to prevent your body from feeling the cold too much.

What are their views of the people who put their feet on seats on trains?

I know it may be convenient to set foot in high, but you can not consider others? Want to sit in a seat after someone else has had their dirty shoes of existence? Just experienced at a time when no one has any regard for others.

I agree, it is inconsiderate, but just another example of how selfish people are now
